Plantation Insurance
It is strongly recommended that forest and plantation owners insure their forest crops, trees (such as coffee, tea and rubber trees) because of a number of potential risks and exposures especially weather related losses.
There are a number of effective insurance policies available that will usually protect against fire, lightning, storm and other specified perils may be required. Insurance policies may cover loss of crops or tree values, cost of replanting, fire brigade charges and general public liability.

Crop / Growing Trees – against loss or damage to the trees by fire and lightning including optional perils extended below :- animal damage, flood, windstorm, subsidence and landslide.
Foreign Workers Scheme – Covers death, permanent total or partial disablement resulting from any injury arising out of and in the course of employment and also hospitalization and medical expenses.
